Safety Regulations
Customers accept that riding a motorcycle is a dangerous activity. Off-road motorcycle activities take place in varied natural environments where there are hazards and risks to manage. Every effort will be made by the team to conduct experiences in a safe manner. Customers are expected to comply with all safety guidance and instructions given by our staff. Customers must possess a fair level of physical fitness in order to take part in an experience. Although the Company will do its utmost to assist customers to identify suitable routes by asking relevant questions with regard to personal fitness, riding experience and ability levels, it remains the responsibility of customers to use their own discretion to determine the suitability of the route being offered. Customers, who enter into a booking with the Company, agree to fully comply with the Company’s General Safety Rules and instructions of staff as detailed in the safety briefing. Failure to observe these rules may lead to exclusion from the event.

What to bring
It is essential that each participant has the appropriate riding/protective clothing. If the customer is going to bring their own, they must ensure sure it complies with the following:
It is essential to wear a UK road legal motorcycle helmet, which conforms to ECE22-05 or the older BS6658 (categorised as Type A/blue or Type B/green label).
They must wear sturdy MOTORCYCLING boots, which cover the ankles and offer support (NOT trainers, Hi-top trainers, fashion boots or Wellingtons). Proper motocross off-road boots are best. Ankle protection is vital. Ankle injuries are the most likely injury whilst riding off-road. If there is any doubt, please reserve some of our boots.
Gloves - Lightweight gloves are best as they give more dexterity for the controls. Heavy padded gauntlets and paws are too hot and clumsy.
Trousers and jacket - lightweight is the key here, however full coverage of legs and arms is essential. Something breathable and waterproof is recommended.
Knee pads and elbow pads - extra protection is recommended.
Spare clothes -

  • a thick pair of socks can help with the fit of motocross boots.
  • any clothing worn under riding kit is likely to get wet, so spare T-shirt, underwear and socks are a good idea.
  • a towel may prove useful.

We can provide the following equipment which is included in the price -

  • MX Boots
  • MX Gloves
  • Goggles
  • MX Helmet
  • Knee guards
  • Elbow pads
  • Over jacket (not armoured or protective in any way)
  • MX Trousers (not armoured or protective in any way)

IF A PARTICIPANT WANTS OR NEEDS ANY BODY ARMOUR, THEY MUST BRING IT WITH THEM, AS WE DO NOT SUPPLY THESE ITEMS.
